Who we are

Taste Buds was founded by Margot Tripier as a wholesale bakery dedicated to creating great-tasting and nutritious cookies.

Margot was born and raised in France, with a mixed southern European heritage. Her appreciation for fresh, natural, authentic food stems from her childhood, and especially from her summers at her grandmother's farm in Bosnia where there was no electricity or running water. She later became an evangelist for good food, working as food critic for a gourmet guide of Lyons, the "capital of French gastronomy." After earning a degree in marketing and working as marketing manager for a specialty food company, she went back to the basics, apprenticing in a traditional French pastry shop and then completing her professional culinary education at the California Culinary Academy. She raises 3 active kids, hikes, swims, and practices as a dancer on a daily basis.
